Grigo, the Fallen Proxy of Yeenoghu

Once upon a time Grigo, the Black Gnoll Warlord of Ten Thousand Skulls was one of the greatest terrors of his world. His legend and power was such that he united all the tribes of his Material plane to conquer his way into the largest Empire ever carved by a Gnoll. An empire ruled by gnolls and where other humanoids would be slaves and snacks.

His prowess and persistence impressed Yeenoghu who ascended him into Proxyhood. The Proxy carved the name of Yeenoghu across the planes and even played an instrumental role in subjugating the King of Ghouls for the Great Beast of Butchery. His name was feared among the planes and few could stop the raiding parties of his Ghasts, Ghouls and Half-Demonic Gnoll Elites.

However, today no one knows the name of Grigo. Eventually he failed Yeenoghu. Some used to say that it was Graz'zt who decided to manipulate Yeenoghu into casting away his most trusted servant. Others claimed that the peace between Orcus and Yeenoghu was sealed by the power invested in Grigo. Some fools would even say that Grigo grew fat and complacent on the spoils of his conquests.

What ever the truth of the matter may have been, Grigo is no longer the Proxy of Yeenoghu. Fallen. Disgraced. His Empire lost to Aeons and all he ever lived for destroyed by the one thing he loved the most. Yet Grigo is not willing to give in. He rose to power once. He shall once more... and if the Great Yeenoghu will not take him as his own, then he may yet take him as an equal!
