The Strange Aeons by Clone-Artist The Strange Aeons by Clone-Artist
A fake cover for a fake Doctor Who book.

The book is a short story anthology that features The Doctor and his adventures with creatures and monsters from the Cthulhu Mythos lore.
So here you will find: Dimensional Shamblers, Hounds of Tindalos, Yithians, Star Vampires and one little boy whom the Doctor showed the (unfortunately) dark (and strange) side of Aeons.

You guessed: The boy's name is Howard.

Unfortunately the picture is in low res, but it is the only one I have at the moment. Later I will upload one with a higher resolution.

NOTE: This is for a Cover Competition.

EDIT: I've changed resolution a bit and added larger title.

I have been working out a Lovecraftian Doctor Who story for a while now. It involves Paul McGann's 8th Doctor and Yog Sothoth. Maybe one day I'll get around to actually writing it!

It looks somewhat related to the Black Slime Beast in the Ghostbusters video game.

The New Adventures such as white Darkness and all-consuming fire depeict the 7th doctor battling Cthulhu and Azathoth. The Doctor also mention Nyrlahotep in one novel. It's also said that Fenric from Curse of Fenric, one of my favoirte doctor Who episodes, is Hastur the Unspeakable.
