Everything your Heart may Desire

This lady is one of the Noviere, water themed Eladrin from Arborea. They can shapeshift into dolphins and exist as nomadic tribes in the seas of Arborea. They are stockier and their skins are more blubbery then the usual Elvish form of the Eladrin due to he constant swimming and exposure to the seas.  The Noviere are well known for their interest in mortals and the willingness to trade and converse with them with less disdain when the other Eladrin. Usualy straightforward and to the point, the Noviere are some of Arborea's more pleasant companions.

This piece was inspired by an encounter with a group of nomadic Noviere nobles that our DM had us encounter. We were warned that at times the Noviere may offer us many gifts but that no gift should be taken without bargaining, for to do otherwise would be to accede to any demands the Noviere would have upon them. Of course, the Noviere came to the ship bearing gifts and among them was a thousand items each of our characters wanted. It was a fun roleplaying opportunity, even if a bit different from the usual take on the Noviere.

The Eladrin prior to D&D 4 used to be a race of planar beings that were something like the angels of the Elves. Beings created from the power of the Plane and infused with the Faith and belief  of the Elves, the Eladrin were meant to serve as the warriors and protectors of Arborea and direct servants of the Elven Gods.
