Dabus Sweeper

Dabus (singular and plural) are mysterious caretakers of extra-planar Metropolis of Sigil. They do all kinds of menial work that keeps cage running: from sweeping streets to thatching roofs, from renovation of hovels in hive to cleansing ooze portals that appear all over city.

The most remarkable feature of these silent servitors (beside the fact they seem to glide few inches over surface) is they way of communication: when they have something to say they do that by forming picture puzzles (Rebuses) in the thin air above their heads.

Dabus are creatures that are shrouded in mysteries that no one bothers to unravel, and there is a very good reason for that: patron of the Dabus is Sigil silent ruler: The Lady of Pain, and it is a well known fact that those who mess with Dabus will soon suffer Lady's retribution.
