Brother Ash and Brother Blood

While the brothers may be called such, there is nothing brotherly between Ash and Blood. Created as a perverse joke by a unknown Deathlord these two blades were meant to scout out possible targets for the Dark Exaltation. Alas, most of their prospective candidates tend to end up just dead instead.

Brother Ash and Brother Blood hate each other with a zest second only to the disgust with which they treat their apprentices. Armed with ancient Arcanoi and centuries of experience, the Brothers pursue candidates among the living, seeking the strongest and the most ruthless. If they cannot find someone with those qualities then they will just go and do their damn best to change their "students".

There is a story about the brothers, though... if anyone were to force them into submission and make them cooperate (a task nigh impossible) they would get a weapon most formidable... they say such a weapon could even cut the strands Of Fate itself.

The weapons themselves are normal Soulsteel Daiklaives, with Brother Ash having a extra dice of accuracy, and Brother Blood having an extra dice of damage.

If one were to ever combine the blades together they would gain a vastly more powerful weapon capable of inflicting aggravated damage and cutting through anything. Use the guidelines for the Slayer Khatars when it comes to inflicting damage to any and all inanimate objects. Additional rules for damage on the merged weapons is subject to the preference of the Storyteller

Making the brothers cooperate should be an epic feat worthy of quite a story. Suffice to say that it was hard enough that their maker decided not to bother.

The swords have the ability to travel through Elsewhere once their wielder dies to find another unfortunate soul to assess and use for the purposes of Oblivion. Among any Arcanoi the Storyteller deems necessary they also have unique Arcanoi that allow them to waive attunement costs for their wielder if he is not an essence user, and to add dice to their wielders melee pool. The swords may also allow their wielders to use the charms Artful Maiming Onslaught and Elegant Flowing Deflection. Again, these prices may be paid by the swords if they feel so inclined.
