Akantha is a Lunar shapeshifter from the nation of An Teng. She earned her exaltation by fighting for dear life when her explorations into the mysteries of Creation led her into the clutches of a cult serving the Dread Yozis. The cults used their influence with the ruling families of An Teng to sic the Realm and the authorities on her. She had to leave her husband and her studies to lay low and avoid the attention of the Realm's Anathema hunters.

Pursued for her Anathema nature by her own people and the Realm, Akantha vowed to fight the Yozi cancer upon her homeland.

Lovely! Love that anima banner. Struggled with whether or not to include a hood on my snake lunar or not due to it being part of the rib cage of a cobra. But she's a Lunar, so f*#@ it, right? I went off the map anatomy-wise by replacing her nails with fangs. Here she is if you want to take a peek. [link]

i ended up going for the hood as a collar instead of a part of the head. It was the only way that i could get the haircut of the character right so it came along naturally
